Farmer's Market, Home Depot, Bass Pro Pyramid....Oh My!
What full and fun day we have had! We started at the Farmer's market. I didn't think about snapping a few pictures of the beautiful locally grown produce. We only bought some peaches and figs this time. We wanted to check it out before we made it a part of our routine. The fig farmer had samples out. Figs don't look very appetizing to me, but I was still open to trying them. The couple was so proud of Sam and Drew for trying them too. Our boys are pretty adventurous eaters. The figs were delicious, so we brought some home. Then we were off to the kid's workshop at Home Depot. Boy was it hot there! The boys enoyed banging the hammer around as Nick quickly assembled their projects. Ha! Next we headed downtown to the Bass Pro at the Pyramid. There were all sorts of cool things to see there. The only thing we didn't do that I wanted to was ride the 28 story elevator....largest free standing one in North America. The line was too long and lunchtime was quickly approaching. We will definitely do that the next visit. We ate a quick lunch at Newks and made a fast stop at Target for a treat. We bought the movie Home for the boys. They will get their surprise after nap. :)
