Happy Thanksgiving!

I love to read!
Mommy takes me to the library almost every week to get new books.
I am taking great care of the books I check out.
Sometimes I want Mommy and Daddy to read to me,
and other times I enjoy reading on my own.
Look at my stack on the coffee table.

Would you like me to read to you?

Check out my new train layout.
Daddy and I are going to have so much fun working on this.
We are so thankful to have been given this whole set.

A pre-thanksgiving meal a few days before leaving town...getting ready for the real thing.

Mmmmmm...chicken legs. Watch it Yankee!

Happy Thanksgiving!
This past week has been full of special moments with both friends and family.
We did some traveling, some resting, and quite a bit of eating.
More and more with each passing day, we realize just how big we are blessed.

Thanksgiving morning in Clarksville at Grandma Sue and Grandpa Larry's house.

Playing Whack-a-Mole with Mama Sue-Sue.
I have really started getting into games lately.
We just started Family Game Night on Tuesdays.

Helping Grandpa open a present....it's a picture of a handsome little fella.
My cousins Cole and Cooper stopped by to play for a little bit.
I'll get to see them later in Dickson.

We enjoyed a Korean Thanksgiving meal.....yummy!

At Nana and Pop's house in Dickson...Thanksgiving evening.
I love playing the piano at their house.
My cousins Catherine, Cooper, Carley, and Cole helped me out.

Cooper and I are playing the organ.
We make a great team!

Helping Uncle Mark open a present...another picture of a handsome boy.

Getting ready to eat dinner.

There were so many people eating at Nana's house, we ate in three rooms.
Lenny, Carol, Carley, and Catherine came up from Georgia.
Granny and Papa rode with them.
Even Lenny's parents made it from Ohio.
We had a blast!

Nana always has lots of toys at her house for me to play with.

Pop even let me put on some tunes to boogie out to.

Hey Granny, let me help you with your phone. :)

Those are beautiful earrings Nana.
Thanks for all the delicious food.

Friday morning we walked downtown Dickson to do some window shopping.
I escorted Carol and Granny.

Mr. Joseph, Lenny's Dad, gave me a ride on his walker.
How kind!

Taking a rest with Papa on the bench while the girls finished up shopping.

Carley is so sweet to me!

After leaving Dickson, we headed to see Aunt Kathy and the girls.
She is just about 30 minutes up the road.
Olivia and Kim showed me their nativity scene under their tree.

I love you Aunt Kathy!

As soon as we made it back home, Mommy and I headed to church.
We saw Grandmother, Granddad, and lots of cousins, aunts, and uncles.
After church, we made a short visit at Grandmother and Granddad's house.

Here I am with Aunt Linda and Aunt Debbie.
These are just a few of my cousins....from top to bottom:
Jacob, Melody, Nic, Mikayla, Becca, and Gabbie.

Mommy & Daddy Note: Sam was so well behaved this past week.
He showed his manners and was very pleasant to be around.
Sam has really been learning a lot at school and home.
We really see how far our little guy has come.
We definitely feel extremely blessed to have him in our lives.
We find ourselves smiling at him all the time.
He just says or does one funny thing after another.
Sam is such a happy, well-rounded little boy.
From our family to yours, we wish you a wonderful holiday season full of blessings and love.

Happy Halloween!

Over the past week we have done lots of Halloween activities. First, we went to a Fall Fest at church. We all dressed up....Daddy was a football player, Mommy was a princess, and I was a fireman.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A pumpkin patch came to my school and we played lots of fun games and chose a pumpkin. I dressed up for the costume parade at school...Mommy forgot to grab the camera. :(
I was superman. My teacher called me Super Sam. :)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We carved pumpkins at Aunt Jessica's house. Last night, I put on my spider man costume and went trick-or-treating at a few neighbors houses. I even helped Daddy hand out candy! All in all, Halloween was pretty fun...especially with all my hand-me-down costumes. :)
