One Last Stop

We were around the corner from Grandmother and Granddaddy, so we stopped for some hugs and kisses. :)

Trick or Treat

We wanted to do something a little different for Halloween this year. My sister Debbie told me about the people at a local nursing home giving out candy. I asked Sam if he wanted to go and he did. We had a friend from church and her little one join us as well.  It was so much fun. Not sure who enjoyed it more...the boys or the residents.

11.25 Pounds of Candy!

Nick handed out a ton of candy tonight....11.25 pounds to be exact. Our next door neighbor said they handed out 18 pounds, but they have a spooky graveyard in their front yard. The boys were so excited when I poured it in the bowls.

Halloween at School

Drew dressed as superman for his school party today. His teacher said she would send the pictures out Monday. I was able to snap a few when we dropped him off this morning.

Puzzles, Painting, Stamps...Oh My!

Drew had lots of fun activities at school this week...as usual.  There's always lots of creative art and free play. Drew has especially enjoyed listening to the teacher speak Mandarin. He's talking and signing more too.
He did pick up something a bit undesirable this week...hair pulling. :( He got mad at Sam this afternoon and couldn't get out his words fast enough, so he pulled his hair. Sam was very diplomatic about it. He did not retaliate, and he was even gracious as Drew apologized.
On a sweeter note, Drew said a new phrase this weekend...I love you. It sounds more like I wuv ooo. :) Still very sweet with a mommy, daddy, or bubba attached to it.

Hayride at Mr. Ronnie's Farm

We had a wonderful time taking in country life at Mr. Ronnie's farm this afternoon.  Ms. Sandy had to nurse Sam up after a spill on pea gravel. That boy scrapped his arms up and down...poor buddy! :( He was brave and back to playing before too long. Drew loved all of the puppies...every animal he saw was a puppy...even the ones that weren't.  Ha! :) We always look forward to going to Mr. Ronnie and Ms. Sandy's farm.
