18 Months Old
Drew is 18 months old. That is so hard to believe! Our little guy weighs 25 pounds. The doctor didn't measure his height. He's a little chatter box here lately, but we don't always understand what he is saying. He knows what he's saying. :) Drew waves at everyone. He's friendly to all. His favorite person is still his bubba. They play pretty good together. Every once in a while one of them gets too rough. Nick and I have been trying to let the boys work out some of their conflict on their own. There are obviously times we have to step in. Drew scares us to death with his climbing. He has NO fear. As Drew continues cutting new teeth, his eating habits have changed a bit. He's become a bit of a picky eater. We are hoping that this is just a phase that will pass once his mouth feels better. He has 16 teeth....well, almost...two of the 16 aren't 100% in all the way. At a year and a half, Drew will watch a little more tv than he used to. He's still not quite into as much as Sam. :) His favorite shows are anything Disney Junior. He also likes anything musical. Drew likes looking at books and being read to. I think this is from watching Sam. He loves all of Sam's toys. There are a few things we keep away from him, but he does well with everything else. Drew is quickly growing out of clothes. He is into 18-24 month sizes. He's not quite into 2T sizes. His foot is almost out size 5. We just transitioned him out of his infant car seat and into a convertible seat. He is still rear facing until he turns 2...new TN law since Sam was that age. Sam was already forwarding facing at this time. Drew is still a wonderful sleeper...both nap time and night time. In Sam's words, "Drew is so nice. He likes to love on me and kiss on me. He is my best brother in the whole entire world." We had a great time at Chucky Cheese today.
