Happy Halloween!

We were shocked that the weather cooperated tonight! The forecast looked ominous all week long. It did rain a bit tonight, but we were already back home.

Sam chose to dress up as Spiderman tonight, and Drew wanted to be a Ninja Turtle. We went up and down our street, and then headed home. I was so proud of how the boys stayed together, stayed on the sidewalk, and used their manners. They got lots of candy! We dumped it all out, and they picked out their favorites to keep. Nick went through 9 boxes of treats in an hour! We gave Nick the bulk of the rest of the candy to give out....it lasted him another hour and a half. The boys filled their bellies with a handful of treats tonight, and we probably have a few more treats for the coming days. No mountains of candy for the next month...like I remember having as a kid. These boys get their sweet tooth honestly from me. We do not need mountains of candy in this house. Ha! Happy Halloween!

Cookin' Up a Mess

I have to watch this stinker like a hawk. He is into EVERYTHING! He's fast, sneaky, and very quiet in his endeavors! Good thing he's a cutie! :)

Rainy AM Soccer Game

Boo-tiful Breakfast

Made a big pot of steel cut oats and topped it with brown sugar and boo-berries. Yum yum! Our treats are ready for any goblins, ghosts, or superheroes that come knocking at the door later. The rain just started here...we'll see what the evening brings. Happy Halloween!

Trick or Treat: Shoppes of Arlington

We dressed up and had some Halloween fun tonight. The wonderful people from the Shoppes of Arlington dressed up, gave out candy, set-up games, had a haunted house, played spooky music, and made balloon animals. It was SO much fun! We met Nick for dinner at Off the Hoof. Now that's a great night!

He's Got Me!

Cowboys and Indians

We took the boys to SBA for trunk or treat last night. They got SO much candy! The weather is supposed to be rainy here on the 31st, so I'm glad we have been able to have some pre-Halloween fun. I saw a lot of the 3rd graders I taught at SFA who are now sophomores and juniors. Wow!
