Zoo Day

We had a nice visit to the zoo today. Boy  was it hot! Many of the animals were off exhibit because of the heat. Thank goodness for sunscreen, shade, and cool drinks. We saw the take flight bird show for the first time. I'm not too big on birds flying at me or over me or near me, but I took one for the team. The boys loved it! The bonobo monkeys were awesome as usual. There are 3 sweet baby boys. It was so cool watching them play with their mamas.  The mama of the youngest baby brought him right up to the window for us to see. It's hard to see in the pictures. It's always great to see the pandas, LeLe and YaYa. They were both munching on bambo. We saw a few more animals and called it quits. We're already looking forward to our next trip.
