7 Months Old
Drew Asher turns 7 months old...in about half an hour! He is a little over 16 pounds...not sure on his length. Sam was this size at 4 1/2 months. The pediatrician describes Drew as neither a big baby nor a small baby...merely a healthy average size. He is finally rolling all over the place. He can make his way around a room. He scoots on his belly and when on his back he moves his hips up and down to go places. It's the funniest thing! He has been wearing size 3 diapers for a while now. He is in 6 month and 6-9 month clothing. He is quickly growing out of 6 month stuff. His feet are still teeny tiny...about a size 2. They are the stinkiest little feet ever! His feet and hands sweat bad...poor little fella. Drew has eaten lots of new foods this month...squash, sweet potatoes, apple sauce, bananas, pears, peas, peaches, prunes, and carrots. The only thing we have left in stage 1 foods is green beans. He will eat cereal, but it's not his favorite. Drew still nurses in the morning and evening. I can get more feedings in on the weekends. While at school, he drinks 3 bottles(5-7 ounces each) throughout the day along with solids. He is a super happy baby. He enjoys playing with Sam and watching the puppy dogs. It's so sweet watching him interact with other babies at school. The other day I picked him up and he had another baby's foot in his mouth. Ha! The other baby was just laughing. Good thing Drew has no teeth yet. That boy can sure make a lot of noise but no real words yet. I'm sure I'll get lots of cute pictures of him tomorrow, but here are a few I snapped the other day. So glad the blog is back up and running.
