๐ด๐๐ซGoing on a Safari๐๐ฎ๐
We had such a great time at the Tennessee Safari Park today. It was kinda a last minute decision to go today. We fed all sorts if animals...some that I couldn't tell you the name of at all. Most of the animals were very polite as they ate from the feed buckets. We did have a few unnerving situations...like a buffalo sticking his head in the window! A park ranger had to actually get the animal away from our vehicle. Some of the animals would really sneak up on you. Drew was a bit hesitate to feed the larger animals, but he warmed up to some of the baby ones. Drew was our watch guy for ostriches...he would yell "big bird" and we would quickly get the windows up. Sam got spooked in the beginning when a zebra put his head a little too far into the car...but that kid was AMAZING as he overcame his fears. I told him he was the bravest boy I know feeding all those animals with long horns. He even fed a huge buffalo! It got hot when we had the windows down, and I have quite a bit of stray feed all over my car, but the trip was worth it. Oh, we also need a good car wash...yucky slobber on the doors and windows.
