Big Family

We have such a big family, Drew is still entertaining new visitors.  He met Uncle Dave and his family this afternoon.  Drew was happy being passed around, while Sam got some playtime in with his cousins.

Pool Time

We finally got Sam's swimming pool.  We ended up getting a small one this year...thought it would be easier to up keep. We also picked up a market umbrella for some shade. The deck gets an awful lot of sun on most days. We had to lay the umbrella down tonight because it's quite breezy...think a storm may be brewing.  Yesterday we set up his sand box. We are all ready for some fun in the sun. :)

7 Weeks Old

Drew turned 7 weeks old on Tuesday.  We weighed him at the doctor's office and he is 9 pounds 7 ounces! That's one ounce away from 9 1/2 pounds. What a big growing boy! Drew is starting to settle into a nighttime routine.  Depending on what time he goes to bed, he only wakes once or twice in the night. He's up @ 11pm and again @ 2 or 3am. Last night he skipped the 11pm feeding.  He smiles all the time now. I halfway caught him smiling this morning.  So precious!  He loves to be sung to and talked to. He moves his mouth like he's trying to tell us something.  He hasn't quite started gooing, but he's almost there. We go for  his 2 month shots soon....not looking forward to that.

Belated Mother's Day Gift

Check out the beautiful ring the boys got me for Mother's Day. It has both their names and birthstones. My hands are still swollen, so I am wearing it on my pinky until the swelling goes down. I shoved it on my ring finger and it cut my circulation off! It took a ton of vaseline to get it off. Yikes!

Nick and I were treated to an early morning magic show. It was so creative. What a sweet little magician!

Worn Out

We've had a great day today. We are looking forward to enjoying an extra long weekend with Nick. We want to do a whole lot of relaxing and spending time playing outside. The weather is supposed to be fabulous.

More Company

Uncle Stephen's family came over to meet Drew and to play with Sam. We had a lot of fun! :)
