Potty Time
We put Sam on the potty when he woke up this morning. He went potty on the toilet for the 1st time. Hurray Sam! I wish I would have had the camera in hand...his little face was priceless when he realized what he was doing. Boy was he proud of himself! We'll see how Sam moves this potty thing forward. We will go at his own rate.

Blain's Birthday Party
2 Year Check-Up
I had my 2 year old check-up Friday afternoon. I stood on the scale like a big boy. I weigh 32 pounds. I stood up against the wall and the nurse measured me to be 36 1/4 inches tall. Mommy and I waited a while for the doctor to come in the room. When we saw him, he was so proud of how I let him check my ears and eyes and heart. I even told him what my heart is supposed to sound like....ba bump ba bump. A nurse came in and pricked my finger. I didn't cry though. Mommy told me to tell her what color was coming from my finger and I said "red." Am I smart or what! :) Then another nurse came in to give me shots. Mommy told me they would hurt and I would say "ouch." Guess what...I didn't cry or say ouch. Everyone cheered for me when I left the doctor because I was such a brave boy. I guess it's because I'm 2 years old now. Mommy took me to McDonald's after the doctor and then we drove to Aunt Kathy's house to spend the night. I had a birthday party to go to on Saturday.
Play Date with Josh and Samantha
I had a play date with Josh and Samantha at Chuck-E-Cheese on Friday. Mommy used to teach with Ms. Kati. We had SOOOO much fun. I love Chuck-E-Cheese. I've only been 3 times, but I think it is my new favorite place. :)
Play Date with Vivian Grace
On Thursday, we met up with a friend Mommy used to teach with. Ms. Lana has a little girl who is 5 months younger than me. We haven't seen each other in a long time, but Vivian Grace still greeted me with a big hug and kiss. How kind! :)
