I Survived!
Today was the 1st day back to school after the Christmas break. Nick and I had a wonderful break. I feel like we did everything we wanted to do and more. We watched a lot of movies, laid around and relaxed a bunch, spent a ton of time with family and friends......etc. It was great. I was ready to go back today, but I had a hard time sleeping last night. This morning came bright and early at 5am! I convinced Nick to sleep in 15 minutes longer so we could snuggle. Totally worth it. Then he was off to the gym and I was off to the living room to work out. I got back into my workout routine over the break. Hopefully I can stick with it. It only takes about 40 minutes and I feel great afterwards. I moved very slow after my workout....I'm used to having all the time in the world to get ready. Needless to say, I still was out the door by 7am. That put me at school in enough time to take a deep breath and get a quick restroom break in. :)
The kids were great. I really had missed them. We got though the day just fine. I didn't need as many snacks as I had before the break. I did require more water though...go figure. Most everyone knew I was having a boy already. It was fun to tell people who did not know. I showed my students the ultrasound. Their comments were funny. For example, "He's got a big head" and "Does he know he's a boy. " Ha! :)
Anyway, I survived. It was a fun day, and I'm glad to be back into the swing of things. I'll get a new picture up soon, because we got a digital camera for Christmas. We also received enough money and gift cards to buy a camcorder. Pretty cool huh.
