Fun Evening

Nick and I had a fun evening yesterday. He asked me where I wanted to eat for my birthday and I said anywhere with hot wings! We have been watching the Food Network all weekend and they had a special on hot wings. I had to have some! :) We ate at a place we have never been....DeBo's Hot Wings. It was delicious!

After dinner we headed to Kohl's so I could shop for some maternity jeans. No luck there, so we headed to Target. Nick was such a help picking out clothes and sizes for me. I ended up with a cute pair of jeans and a top. I plan on wearing my new outfit on Friday(we have a jeans day). I'll be sure to take a pic and post it. :)

25 Weeks...and Growing

This is the only picture I could get posted. I have given up on the others. Oh well. :)

I have several pictures that I am trying to post. I am having no luck. They will be up as soon as I can get them posted. Ugh! :(

Getting Older

Today is my 29th birthday! Yesterday, Nick and I had dinner at my parents house. The food was great. This morning Nick snapped a few pictures of me before I headed to school. I am having a great day so far. Nick suprised me with a sweet card and a cheese cake! Yummy! :) We are treating ourselves to dinner on the town tonight.

I woke up in the middle of the night thinking about my mom. I was imagining her going into labor and heading to the hospital to give birth to her 7th child! I was born around 2:30 in the morning. It was a cold snowy day. My sister Linda said they were out of school almost the whole time my mom was in the hospital. Mom said that Dad did some slipping and sliding on their way home from the hospital. Yikes, I bet my mom was scared holding a new born in her arms. I don't think I ever rode in a car seat. I'll have to double check with my mom.

I am 6 months pregnant....which is so hard to believe. The time is flying by. I have really enjoyed being pregnant. I love feeling my little boy move. :)

Whatcha Think?

I think we have settled on the bedding for our Little Bitty Levin's bedroom. We love the colors and the simplicity of the designs. Neither of us are into themed nurseries....although cute, just not for us. I know this one has fish on it, but I wouldn't consider it a fish themed room. It's kinda hard to tell that they are fish...to me, they look more like designs. To get a closer peek, check out our Target.com registry. It is at Babies R Us too...I just haven't added it to that registry yet. We basically registered for the same items at both stores just in case some people have one store and not the other. I will be keeping up with both registries to try and curb repeat purchases. Well, tell me what you think.

So Cute :)

Two babies were sitting in their cribs, when one baby shouted to the other,
"Are you a little girl or a little boy?"
"I don't know," replied the other baby giggling.
"What do you mean, you don't know?" said the first baby.
"I mean I don't know how to tell the difference," was the reply.
"Well, I do," said the first baby chuckling, "I'll climb into your crib and find out."
He carefully maneuvered himself into the other baby's crib,
then quickly disappeared beneath the blankets.
After a couple of minutes, he resurfaced with a big grin on his face.
"You're a little girl, and I'm a little boy," he said proudly.
"You're ever so clever," cooed the baby girl, "but how can you tell ?"
"It's quite easy really," replied the baby boy,
"You've got pink socks
and I've got blue ones."

Feeling a Bit Better

I'm back at school today. I am feeling a bit better. Yesterday was a wonderful day of relaxation. I am still taking my medicine. Hopefully I will kick all this chest congestion soon.

Our Little Bitty Levin is still growing and moving all the time. This morning I grabbed Nick's hand to feel. I love to see Nick's face when he feels a lot of movement. He's gonna be such a good Daddy!

I'll post new pictures soon. I haven't felt up to a picture the past few days.

Bronchitus

Went back to the doctor today....I have bronchitus. :( They gave me a shot of antibiotics in my hip and a prescription for steroids. I am taking tomorrow off to rest and recuperate.

The baby's heart beat was music to my ears though. :) Still at about 150 beats per minute. My sweet pumpkin is probably tired of all this coughing and nose blowing. Poor little fellow.

Bright & Early

Well it's Saturday morning and I'm at school with kids who earned themselves a Saturday school. (not 3rd graders...7th and 8th graders) It was hard getting up so early. I slept better last night...thank goodness. My sweet Nick got up and made me pancakes before I left for school. :)

Later today, Mom and I are going shopping for a baby gift for my cousin. His wife is due early February. We are heading to KY for a baby shower next weekend. It will be great to see family members we don't normally see.

Nick and I are planning on going to the hospital for a tour this afternoon. They like for all the paperwork to be filled out before your 6th month. I suppose this makes this run a lot smoother come delivery day.

Tonight, I have a big date with an Algebra 2 book. I have agreed to tutor a teacher's daughter and will be brushing up on my math skills. I have been tutoring a 7th grader at school in pre-algebra, so that should help.

Well, that's my big exciting weekend. :)

Antibiotics

Okay, my head cold is turning into much more. I put another call into the doctor. They prescribed me a z-pack to knock out this sinus infection. As much as I hate to take anything, I don't think this will just go away without taking something. I am looking forward to getting some extra rest this weekend. I am starting to get uncomfortable at night and have been loosing some of my precious sleep time. I don't know if it is my growing belly or this cold. I pulled my maternity pillow back out last night. It helped a bit. We'll see how I feel after my z-pack. Enjoy the weekend!

No Names Yet

A lot of you have asked about names for our Little Bitty Levin. Nick and I haven't really talked a whole lot about names. I don't think either of us are ready to commit to one name yet. We will come up with a name though....don't worry. :)

Belly Pics---5 1/2 Months

As you can see, my belly has finally popped out. People can actually tell that I am pregnant now. It is as if this happened overnight. This must be a big growing week for our Little Bitty Levin. I still feel great....well, except for the head cold I feel coming on. The weather has been going back and forth here all week. I am ready for it to be one temperature. I got on the scale today and I have gained exactly 15 pounds. I wish you could tell from the pictures how fuzzy my belly is getting. I look like a monkey! :) Oh and my belly button keeps poking further and further out. I'm not sure if it will flatten out or turn into one of those major outies. We will see! :)

Some Pics from the Holidays

Christmas Day at my Mom and Dad's house.

I Survived!

Today was the 1st day back to school after the Christmas break. Nick and I had a wonderful break. I feel like we did everything we wanted to do and more. We watched a lot of movies, laid around and relaxed a bunch, spent a ton of time with family and friends......etc. It was great. I was ready to go back today, but I had a hard time sleeping last night. This morning came bright and early at 5am! I convinced Nick to sleep in 15 minutes longer so we could snuggle. Totally worth it. Then he was off to the gym and I was off to the living room to work out. I got back into my workout routine over the break. Hopefully I can stick with it. It only takes about 40 minutes and I feel great afterwards. I moved very slow after my workout....I'm used to having all the time in the world to get ready. Needless to say, I still was out the door by 7am. That put me at school in enough time to take a deep breath and get a quick restroom break in. :)

The kids were great. I really had missed them. We got though the day just fine. I didn't need as many snacks as I had before the break. I did require more water though...go figure. Most everyone knew I was having a boy already. It was fun to tell people who did not know. I showed my students the ultrasound. Their comments were funny. For example, "He's got a big head" and "Does he know he's a boy. " Ha! :)

Anyway, I survived. It was a fun day, and I'm glad to be back into the swing of things. I'll get a new picture up soon, because we got a digital camera for Christmas. We also received enough money and gift cards to buy a camcorder. Pretty cool huh.
