Go Red Go

  Sam's game was delayed about 20 minutes yesterday because if a torrential downpour. We took cover in the dugout but we ended up soaked and muddy. Gabbie ran after Drew so I could watch the game.Thank you Gabbie, Drew loves playing with you!  Sam had a blast on the field and in the dugout....winning or losing....he has a great time. He's not the best player and not as focused on the game as he probably should be, but he's grown a lot since last year. He has a really good coach this year, along with several daddies that help. Nick had to work during this game. Sam's actually learning the game this year. Following the game, our muddy little team took pictures. Ha! Poor Nick couldn't make it, so he missed out on the team pic. :( Sam picked to go get some sushi for lunch. It was a really fun day. Naps were a MUST when we got home. :)

Happy Memorial Day Weekend!

We acquired two American flags from a sweet elderly couple taking donations in front of the market. The boys had so much fun waving their flags as they steered their car. They told each person we passed "Happy Memorial Day "! They put big smiles on a lot of faces. :)

1st T-ball Game

Sam's had his first t-ball game of the season tonight. We've had several games rained out. Sam had a blast. He's really grown a lot since last year. Drew had a blast running around and playing in the dirt.

And a New Chapter Begins

Drew and I enjoyed one more day of school. Leaving was bittersweet for sure. School is out for summer! Here's to one door closing and another opening.
