Snow Play
Sam's teacher send a few pics of the kiddos playing as the snow started falling yesterday. **He's wearing a gray hoodie.
Snow Day #6
We celebrated snow day #5 on Monday and #6 today. Last week was a one day school week. After working hard for two days this week, we all needed a little break. Ha!:) More snow fell south of us, so our schools closed while we are watching neighborhood kiddos walk to the bus stop. We'll probably get out later to play a bit. Sure wish we had the 2-4 inches they got around our school. At least our roads are safe enough that we can get out and about today if we want. Maybe we'll go wish Granddaddy a happy 81st birthday. :)

4th Snow Day This Week!
We haven't had this many days off of school since the ice storms that passed through in the 90s. Wow! It just started snowing....sleet and freezing rain to follow. Nothing too significant today...just enough to CLOSE SCHOOL! YAY!

Passing the Time
The boys have had no trouble passing the time over the past two snow days. They have played very well together for the most part. Drew has recently picked up a bad habit from school that we are trying to break him of...hitting. :( Thank goodness big brother isn't hitting back. Sam has done a really good job being patient with Drew and trying to help him use his words instead of his hands.
Out in Bartlett
We had to get out this afternoon to take Drew for a well baby visit to the doctor. He was scheduled for yesterday but that was rescheduled for today when the roads were a bit better. The drive in was pretty easy. After getting his shots, Drew asked to go to Grandmother and Granddaddy's house. We went for a short visit. We wanted to make it home before all the slush started to refreeze. The boys loved the car ride home. We rode home on a back road that wasn't as clear. We did a little slipping and sliding....nothing too scary at the speed we were traveling. They really liked seeing the snow plow pass a few times. As we made it closer to home, the road was starting to freeze over again and was getting bumpy. They were so cute making bumpy noises in the back seat. It was so good to see Grandmother and Granddaddy! :)
Ready :)
The boys were out of school again today. We're holding our breath that we'll get one more day out of this ice. We should know soon.
