Good Week
Drew had a nice week at school. He's been a bit fussy as he cuts 4 teeth all at once. Poor buddy! He was worn out and gassy on Wednesday. The doc gave him a clean bill of health Thursday morning. He's not quite as gassy, but he still is irritable as those teeth push through.

The Gardens
Sam has been wanting to go to Botanic since before school started back. One thing or another got in the way...heat advisory, rain, sickness, etc. Well we finally made it today. We always have so much fun there.
Spirit Week
This week was Spirit Week at school. We had dress up days to make it extra fun for the kiddos. Friday's Dragon Dash got pushed to Monday due to rain. Some how I missed getting a pic of Sam on Wacky Tacky day on Thursday. Wednesday was PJ day. Tuesday was backwards day. Monday was Maroon Day. Lots of fun!
17 Months Old
Drew turned 17 months old this week. He is a busy boy and into EVERYTHING. :) He's hungry all the time. I think eating is his favorite thing to do. This past month he has gone through a phase where he throws food he doesn't want on the floor. Sometimes he throws food he does want on the floor and is heartbroken when our four legged friends play clean up crew. He's getting better at saying/gesturing no thank you when he doesn't want something. He's also getting better at protecting his food from the pups. Drew's most used words are yeah, please, cheese, bubba, da-ee, mama or ma-ee, and je-us (jesus). He ate more than Sam and I for breakfast this morning. He drank 2 cups of whole milk, 1/2 cup of cereal, a banana, half of a breakfast sandwich, and half of an apple. Little piggy! Not sure of his height and weight. He's getting bigger and taller for sure. Drew's new thing this month is jumping/hopping. Watching this is hilarious! He has outgrown his little umbrella stroller. We picked up a bigger, more comfortable stroller 2 weekends ago. I'm pretty sure we bought our Drew a pink stroller. It looked red on the box, in the store, and online. We got it home and it was more of a muted red...sorta kinda pink. Sorry Drew, we already put it together and it's not going back to the store. When I asked Sam what he thinks about Drew, his response was, "He's good. I love him so much. He's got a tender heart." How sweet is he!
