Little Picasso

Sam sure enjoyed painting this evening.  We made him a smock out of one of Nick's old shirts. Drew had fun watching big brother.  I think we may have a future artist on our hands. :)

Smart Boy

I went to take a picture of Sam drawing on his easel and look what I saw. He drew a compass rose with no help...even got the directions correct. I asked him how he knew that and he said he saw it in the car. Quite observant,  huh!

Happy Birthday Nicolas Sean

We celebrated Nick's 35th birthday yesterday.  Lots of fun!

Christmas Day

Sam woke up this morning @ 7am because he thought he heard sleigh bells. He discovered that Santa had been to our house! We have had a nice morning opening gifts, exploring Santa surprises, and eating good food. Drew is down for a nap and we are snuggled in watching the movie Turbo. Merry Christmas! We are blessed indeed!

Not Sleepy...So Excited!

This sweet boy had a hard time going down for the night. Nick googled the Santa hotline. When Sam heard Santa's voice, he dashed back to bed. Ha!

The 24th

We went to the candlelight service at church tonight, ate some dinner, made cookies, and opened a few presents. We each got new jammies and a new movie to watch tomorrow.  Sam carefully chose some cookies for Santa and poured him some milk. We read a few Christmas stories and called it a night.

Merry Christmas Eve!

Santa made a quick stop in Arlington before loading his sleigh for tonight's journey. Sam told him what he and Drew wanted for Christmas. 

Sing Along at School

The sing along at school today was so much fun. Sam enjoyed singing songs with his friends.  He even got a special dance with Mommy. :) It will be nice to have some time off to relax and recharge.
