Last Few Shots of Summer

Mommy Note: Long time no post...sorry.  I reached my quota of pictures for the blog.  I needed to buy more space but just didn't get a spare moment until now.  We have been busy enjoying the last few moments of summer break.  We had so much fun as a family this summer....no regrets.  Tomorrow is the beginning of in-service for me.  Sam will go to the school he attended last year for the next few weeks.  His first full day at my school will not be for another couple of weeks.  He is super excited.  It is bittersweet to see the summer break end, but I definitely look forward to the start of a brand new school year. 

We were at Lindsey's parent's house a few weeks ago for a summer party.  Check out that big doggie trying to kiss my daddy.

I love to read!  I made my reading goal this summer.  Mommy and Daddy helped me reach my goal of 15 hours throughout the summer.  Each time I reached a reading milestone, I received a prize from the librarian.

Home Sweet Home

Mommy and I traveled over 1800 miles over the past 11 days.  Daddy joined us in Atlanta.  We have a great time, but we are very happy to be back home.  We picked the pups up and they missed us so much.  We are completely unloaded and unpacked.  My laundry is all clean...Mommy and Daddy will probably wait for the weekend to finish theirs.  We have just a few weeks left of summer break.  We are taking this week to recuperate from our long journey across three states.  Can't wait for our next trip.  <3 Sam

Vacation Part 8-Marietta, GA

After leaving Savannah, we traveled to Marietta to stay the night.  First we ate at Carol's favorite restaurant, then we headed to the yogurt shop where Carley works.

Vacation Part 7-Savannah, GA

Headed to Savannah to see Devlin, Daria, and Raleigh.

When we got to Raleigh's house, we decided to go to the park after supper.

Raleigh showed me all his favorite things.

The next morning, we headed to Tybee Island.
