A Beautiful Saturday at Shelby Farms

Stuck on Summer

This buddy is still stuck on summer. Ha! He did not enjoy trying on clothes for me. It took Nick and I both to get the job done. :)

Fall Clothes

Sam went to school in pants and a jacket today. It was 58 degrees when he got on the bus! It will warm up gradually today, but fall clothes are beginning to make their appearance at our house. We took time this weekend to pull out the next size of clothing for the boys and pull out things don't fit. Sam's clothes go to the attic for Drew, and Drew's clothes are bagged up for Good Will. It was great pulling down hand-me-downs from cousins for Sam. We only had to pick up a few items at Old Navy to complete Sam's fall wardrobe. Score! :) Sam is mighty proud of the jacket he's wearing...he picked it out himself. I was mighty proud when we realized it was 60% off...another Score! :)

1st Soccer Game

Sam had so much fun playing his first soccer game. We had just as much fun watching. Watching kids this young play is super entertaining. Ha! It was awesome that he enjoyed it so much. I think he may like soccer even more than t-ball!

Ready for Fall

Drew picked out a pumpkin at the store last week. So hard to believe fall is here!

Picture Proofs

This stinker has been ordered to show his teeth in pictures from now on. He looks mighty mischievous in this shot.

Success!

Drew has gone one week without his beloved pacifiers. He is quite attached to the panda now. We dressed the panda in a preemie outfit both Sam and Drew wore.

Meet Paci Panda

Drew said bye bye to his four remaining pacifiers and gave them each one last suckle...well he licked a few of them. Ha! We placed them inside his "injured" panda bear and sewed them up. He and Sam are busy keeping Paci Panda comfortable after her delicate surgery. We have iced her neck, wrapped her in a snuggly blanket, and fed her bambo juice. We'll see how Paci Panda and Drew are feeling this evening at bedtime....fingers crossed. :)
