Mommy and Sam's Date
Sam and I headed out on our own Christmas Eve night. We ate a delicious dinner at the restaurant at the resort and then visited Santa Claus. Sam thanked Santa again for Disney and told him he had moved some of his Christmas wishes to his birthday list. What a sweet boy! We scooted around the gift shopand then headed back to the room. We got in our Christmas jammies...our family tradition...new pjs on Christmas Eve. Then we had a laid back evening. Nick was feeling better but was definitely ready for bed. I got us packed up so we would be ready to go the next day.
MK...Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
We rode the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and then headed to lunch. We saw the holiday parade as we were heading to Tony's Restaurant...the one from Lady and the Tramp. The boys watched the movie as we waited for our table. It was very good. As we were leaving, it started to rain. We jumped on the Monorail and by the time we got off, the rain had stopped. We headed back to our room for naps. I got up before the boys and threw a load of laundry in and scoped out the gift shop all on my own. When I got back to the room, Nick let me know he was sick. That meant Sam and I were on our own for Christmas Eve dinner and going back to Magic Kingdom for the parade and fireworks was out. :(
MK...Tales with Belle
Sam got the part of Chip in the interactive show Tales with Belle. It was the coolest thing ever. Drew wanted a part too and they said he was too little. He didn't like that at all because he wants to do everything that brother does. Sam lived being in the spotlight. I think he has a favorite princess now. :)
Magic Kingdom
Magic Kingdom was magical! We saw Pluto right away...the boys favorite. Then was saw my favorite...Mary Poppins! We rode a few rides and then ate ate Gaston's tavern. The cinnamon rolls were huge. Should have taken a picture...they disappeared too quickly. :) We saw tons of characters and lots of shows and street performances.
