Surprise!

Grandmother and Granddaddy sure were surprised to see two Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles at their door. We popped over for hugs and kisses after Fallapalooza.

Fun at the Park

We met some friends at the park and cooked out. I couldn't get Sam to sit still long enough to get a picture of him. Also, keeping up with Drew kept me super busy. Sam had a blast playing in the creek with the big boys. We ate some good food and had some good fun.

Ai-Yi-Yi

So we're going over stranger danger scenarios with Sam. I pose a situation where a stranger tells Sam he has a bunch of cool toys for him to play with. What is Sam's response...an excited yay. I tell him that's the wrong answer. He changes his answer to...well, maybe (it depends on what toys he's got). Ai-yi-yi!!! We've got some more talking to do about stranger danger.  One of the great things about Sam is that he sees the good in everyone. That's one of the reasons we have to watch him closely too. We'll keep on posing scenarios to him.
