Dad's Birthday #1
My dad turned 83 on February 26th. We all got together to celebrate that day...even my dad's brother Leonard came in town. Good food, good times, great day!
Behind Again!
How did I get all caught up just to fall behind AGAIN! I'll tell you how...my sister Linda took a countless number of amazing pictures at my dad's birthday party, and I thought about how long it was gonna take to post them. I'm going to attempt to get all caught up tonight...we'll see how far I get on a month's worth of photos. Thanks a lot Lindy Bean!😉
How cute is this little monkey giving his brother morale support as he completed his homework! 🐒🍌

Caught Up!
Happy Birthday Yankee! Look who sniffed out their present a day early. Caught ya! Does he look guilty or what! That boy is 12 years old now....older than my dad in doggy years.
Catching Up-Part 12
We went to the AES talent show. Sam and Drew were mesmerized by Miss Tennessee who emceed the event. Sam found out she goes to our church when kids got to ask her questions during an assembly.
Catching Up-Part 10
The day before Valentine's day, Drew and I came home from a busy day of shopping. When we pulled up to our house, we could smell smoke...like a camp fire. We didn't see any smoke. I checked our house through and through and even went into the attic. We went outside and could still strongly smell smoke. We looked all around our house and the surrounding houses but saw no smoke. I was gonna just let it rest, but I was concerned a neighbors house may be on fire. To be on the safe side, I called the fire department and described the situation. They wanted to come out and check. After looking all around our house and the surrounding neighbors homes, they still couldn't find the source. They too could smell it...thank goodness it wasn't just me. After using a tool that I'm assuming detects smoke unseen by the eye, they found that the neighbor on the corner had left papers burning in their grill. Is that legal? They said people do that instead of shredding documents...how unsafe and ungreen. They were glad I called...even though I kinda felt bad they made a trip out over nothing. I knew we had to find a way to thank them. Later that week, Drew and I delivered some Jason's deli trays to them. How sweet is our little fireman!
