Fort Levin

Oh the days of fort building. So much fun. :)

Our Little Scholar

Sam is doing great in kindergarten! He knows all his sight words and is already reading. Crazy...reading in kindergarten! That boy amazes us each day. Instead of working on sight words like the rest of the class, we are working on building his vocabulary and fluency by reading higher level books and asking comprehension questions.

Cute Project

Sam brought a fun project home to be completed this weekend. We had to disguise his turkey so it won't get eaten for Thanksgiving. We brainstormed a lot of possibilities, but he settled on a ninja turtle turkey. Nick took charge of this project since I had the last one. :) Didn't they do a great job! Sam will turn it in tomorrow and complete a writing assignment about his turkey. Can't wait to see what he comes up with.

Star of the Week

Sam was the star of the week this past week. We had a good time making his poster. He was so excited about showing his friends on Monday. He also brought several show and tell items to share as well.

Little Readers

The boys were so sweet reading this morning. Drew brought a book to Nick, and then to me, and finally to Sam. His favorite book of the week is Brown Bear Brown Bear by Eric Carle. He can't get enough of it.

Drew's Week

Drew's teacher sent pictures from Halloween on Monday. I forgot that I had not posted them yet. Nick and I weren't able to go to his party, but one of the ladies in the office hung out with Drew for us. She is his favorite person in the building. He has to say bye bye to her each afternoon. It's really cute. :) This past week was rather chilly...it's supposed to be even colder this week. Feels more like winter than fall. Brrrrr!

Halloween Again

The boys found a fun surprise from Aunt Carol and Uncle Lenny when we checked the mail this afternoon. They had the best time putting their stickers on paper. Happy Halloween again! :)
