Meal Time/Favorite Time
Drew is 14 months old. His favorite time of the day is meal time. :) He has been on whole milk for about 2 weeks now. We were later to start him than his brother. He also takes all drinks from a sippy cup now. We were a little slow on that too. We just went cold turkey and he was fine with that. Every once in a while we put a scoop of toddler formula into his night time cup of milk, just until we empty our last tub. He woke us in the middle of the night the week before last...he's cutting two more teeth. Once they broke through, he's back to his normal sleep through the night routine. Thank goodness! Drew's favorite food is fresh fruit. He loves berries, melon, grapes, etc. We've been exploring different beans this summer. He likes most beans but he did turn his nose up to chick peas last week. We'll try again soon. Drew is still quite a paci man. We were thinking of weaning him this summer. We'll see how that goes. Little man walked, runs, and climbs wherever he goes. As far as talking goes, he's repeating words we say to him. It sure sounds like he's saying something. Drew has enjoyed swimming the few times he's been this summer. The slowed pace of summer has been a blessing. We've enjoyed parks, museums, the library, and lots more spots around town. When riding around town, the boys love singing, making noises, and laughing in the back seat. They've snuck in a nap or two as well. I don't have Drew's weight and height. I'll get that up soon. The past 14 months sure have flown by. Here's hoping the next 14 months don't go by quite as fast.

Swim Babies
We had a refreshing dip in Ms. Debbie and Mr. Kenny's pool yesterday. They had a fun gathering at their Mississippi home. The boys were tuckered out after swimming. They slept the whole drive home. Sam actually went to bed as soon as we got home and slept straight through the night.

Memphis Redbirds vs. Nashville Sounds
We came upon Redbirds tickets late this afternoon and Debbie and her girls were able to come with us. The food was delicious and the view from the club patio was nice. It was good to see a lot of the people we travel with on Nick's business trips. We ended up leaving before the game ended because it was getting late for Drew. As we were getting close to home, Sam told Nick to get him home fast because he was so tired. He konked out before we made it home. Poor buddy got lots of extra exercise walking trails today.
Nature Lovers
We really love going to Lichterman Nature Center. Sam especially enjoys going with cousins. We ate at one of Sam's favorite restaurants for lunch...Rockin Pizza Dough. It was indeed rockin. Yummy!
