Physical Therapy

Drew had his 1st physical therapy visit this morning. The therapist was very impressed with Drew's neck and shoulder muscles, his tracking skills, and his alertness. Drew is in a good place developmentally but we do have some areas to work on. The therapist showed me some exercises to work on with Drew and we will see her again in a few months. This is to make sure he continues to stay on track.

Drew gets really excited when he realizes he can swing at and make contact with the toys hanging from his floor gym. He is really getting good at it!

Art Museum

We visited the local art museum for Wacky Wednesday. Sam enjoyed all the kid friendly activities. He traced a shoe stencil and then colored and cut it out. He pretended to be an architect and traced some buildings on an iPad. He even used felt pieces to make a house on a pro-board. We watched part of an art film...it was hard to get Drew and the stroller down all the stairs and all the seats in the back were taken. Oh well, Sam didn't mind...he was ready to explore the exhibits. I was so proud of him...he was quiet and kept his hands behind his back. He didn't touch any of the art and even asked permission before sitting on the benches. There was a security guard around every bend. I think he knew he better watch his manners. I was the one who got in trouble for taking pictures...whoops!

12 Weeks Old

Baby Drew is 12 weeks old today. Wow, that's hard to believe! He's just as sweet as ever. Drew has become quite a vocal little guy lately.  He goos and coos a lot. He such a smiley fella. :) He did take a fews nights off from the sleeping through the night gig, but he picked it back up last night...or should I say this morning. He went down @9pm and woke up @5:30am...not too bad huh. He will be 3 months old in another week. Sweet Baby Drew!

Cloudy & Rainy Day

We didn't let a little rain or a few clouds stop us from enjoying the zoo this morning.  The clouds and rain seemed to cool things down a bit, and the breeze felt wonderful. There were plenty of places to take cover when it started to sprinkle. Our favorite animal today was the new baby bonobo monkey.  I didn't get a pic of the sweet little thing...maybe next time.  We love the zoo!
